Jobtailor in New York seeks a seasoned structured finance professional to join the Secured Finance team, focusing on US consumer ABS and RMBS sectors.

You will model securities, price and stress-test using Intex, Bloomberg and Excel, and coordinate trading, reporting and client pitches while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Strong communication and collaboration with colleagues, clients and counterparties are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structured finance experience.
• Experience at an asset management company or bank preferred.
• US consumer ABS and US non-agency RMBS expertise.
• Strong Excel, Intex and Bloomberg skills.
• Familiarity with VBA, Python and AI-enabled tools a plus.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation and negotiate amendments with the Sell side as needed.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements for structured products and ensure compliance.
• Model new securities in the internal Portfolio Management system and related tools.
• Price, stress test, and analyze investments using Intex.
• Build and maintain cashflow/analytical deal models in Excel when Intex is unavailable.
• Coordinate new issue and secondary orders, including allocations and bookings.
• Produce daily spread and new issue reports to inform the team about market conditions.
• Monitor investment holdings and update relevant reports and reporting tools.
• Respond to internal and external enquiries on focus sectors and managed accounts.
• Assist in designing presentations/pitches for external clients.
• Support other investment opportunities for the Secured Finance team as needed.
