Job summary

Insight Investment in New York seeks a Senior Investment Analyst or Portfolio Manager to join the Structured Credit team. The role focuses on US consumer ABS and non-agency RMBS, evaluating investment opportunities and aiding portfolio management across the capital structure.

Qualifications

5+ years of structured finance experience.
Experience at an asset management company or bank preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge across structured credit products with focus on US consumer ABS and US non-agency RMBS.
Strong grasp of legal structures and documentation.
Background in mathematics, finance, or economics ideal.
Strong Excel, Intex and Bloomberg skills.
Familiarity with VBA, Python and/or AI-enabled tools a plus.
Ability to work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Review documentation and negotiate amendments with the Sell side in consultation with the team.
Stay abreast of regulatory requirements for structured products and ensure compliant investments.
Model new securities in the Portfolio Management system and other systems.
Use Intex to price, stress test, and analyse investments; build bespoke cashflow/analytical models in Excel where Intex not available.
Assist with new issue and secondary orders, including allocations and bookings.
Produce daily spread and new issue reports to inform team members of market conditions in sectors.
Monitor investment holdings and update reporting tools and relevant reports.
Respond to inquiries for focus sectors and managed accounts.
Contribute to presentations and pitches for external clients.
Support other investment opportunities and investment management activities as needed.
