Job summary

W3Global seeks an experienced Structured Cabling Project Manager in San Antonio to lead major telecommunications infrastructure projects from inception to completion. You will coordinate field teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure client satisfaction and profitability across multiple concurrent site installations.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in structured cabling, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach for coordinating vendors, crews, and customers in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in telecommunications or structured cabling.
• Experience managing structured cabling installation projects.
• Proven experience supervising installation crews.
• Strong knowledge of commercial structured cabling systems.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience reading telecommunications drawings and construction plans.
• Strong budgeting and scheduling experience.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel between project sites.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured cabling projects from kickoff through final completion.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of telecommunications installations.
• Develop execution plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budgets.
• Manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
• Monitor performance and address schedule or budget risks.
• Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment resources.
• Supervise, mentor, and manage installation crews.
• Train field personnel on installation standards and safety.
