Job summary

Smart Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Cabling Project Manager to lead complex commercial structured cabling and technology infrastructure projects from award through successful completion. This role oversees project performance, including financial results, scheduling, procurement, and client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of PM experience in commercial construction, strong leadership skills, and a track record with multimillion-dollar projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction with a focus on structured cabling or technology infrastructure.
• Experience leading complex, multimillion-dollar projects and multiple teams.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost-to-complete, billing, and profitability skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex commercial structured cabling projects from turnover through closeout, including multimillion-dollar initiatives.
• Own project performance: safety, schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction.
• Review contracts, drawings, specs, and schedules to identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, staffing, procurement, and deliverables.
• Manage financials: budgets, labor productivity, forecasting, change orders, and profit.
