Job summary

Insight Global is hiring a Structural Superintendent to support a federal client in Newport News, VA. The candidate will have senior-level welding experience and will oversee subcontractors, ensure QA checks are completed on time, and track all contract documentation for ongoing work.

The role is strictly supervisory; the individual will not be on the tools and will provide leadership for the welding team and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with NAVSEA and marine welding standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of welding supervisory experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors, submitting documentation in a timely fashion, and has a clear understanding of NAVSEA and marine weld standards.
• Has experience working with Microsoft Suite tools to complete reporting and track completed work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractor welding work and ensure QA checks are completed on time.
