Job summary

Riley Power Group, LLC in Goose Creek, SC is seeking Structural Welders Tier III with FCAW, GMAW-SP, and GMAW-P expertise to support nationwide projects. Candidates must demonstrate UT-quality welds and NAVSEA-aligned procedures.

Welders will read blueprints, perform preheat and gouging as needed, and maintain safety and first-time quality standards across multiple shifts, including overtime as required by the customer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on welding experience with GMAW-P and GMAW-SP processes, with demonstrated proficiency in UT-quality welds.
• Minimum 3 years of FCAW welding experience, with demonstrated UT-quality welds.
• High school diploma, GED, and/or certification in the welding discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform FCAW, GMAW-SP, and GMAW-P welding on carbon steel, HY-80, and high-strength steel to required tolerances.
• Weld carbon steel materials including OSS, HSS, HY, HSLA, and other applicable grades.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technique sheets; determine layouts and weld sequences.
• Inspect welds and verify workmanship meets NAVSEA and UT quality standards.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and adherence to NAVSEA requirements; work independently or with teams.
