Job summary

Riley Power Group is hiring skilled welders for multiple sites across the United States. The role requires 2–3 years of GMAW-P and GMAW-SP experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass a hair follicle drug test and background check.

Candidates must read weld symbols, follow NAVSEA requirements, and maintain UT-quality welds while handling 50 lb lifts and OT as needed. Safety and reliability are emphasized on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of GMAW-P and GMAW-SP experience with a High School diploma or GED.
• Able to read and interpret welding drawings and symbols.
• Pass respirator fit-check and wear a respirator as required.
• Must pass background check and drug screen (hair follicle test).
• Willing to work OT and multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Weld carbon steel and related alloys to NAVSEA standards.
• Perform GMAW-P and GMAW-SP welding in multiple positions.
• Verify weld size with gauges and maintain UT quality.
• Follow welding sequence per drawings and specs.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined or high-temperature environments.
