Flexicrew Technical Services is seeking a Structural Welder II to join our shop team in Houston, TX. The role focuses on welding and fabrication of structural steel using diverse processes to meet production and safety requirements.

You will set up equipment, perform 3G flux-core welding, and cut/join steel components with torches, while completing required tests and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two to four years of experience in structural steel welding and fabrication.
• Verified weld test or demonstrated ability to perform required basics.
• Proficiency with flux-core welding from the 3G position.
• Ability to set up and operate welding and cutting equipment.
• Verbal communication skills and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Set up welding equipment and weld parts using gas and arc processes.
• Fabricate and weld structural steel components.
• Demonstrate proficiency with flux-core welding in 3G.
• Cut, prepare, and join steel components with torches.
• Complete welding tests to meet certification requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the shop.
• Meet production and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
