Job summary

Englobal a Gulf Island Company is seeking a skilled Structural Welder in Houston to assemble and weld structural framework and components using multiple welding processes. The role requires reading weld symbols and adhering to specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in structural welding within a fabrication environment, and must pass a weld test, drug screen, and background check.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in structural welding within a fabrication environment.
• Ability to pass a structural welder test (3G on 1/2” carbon steel plate).
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and weld structural framework and components (angle iron, I-beams, steel).
• Perform welding using GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW processes as required.
• Read weld symbols on drawings and apply specifications.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and comply with safety standards.
• Operate equipment and tools; assist in inventory and basic crane operations.
