Job summary

Schuff Steel Co in Lindon, UT is seeking an Experienced Production Welder to join our team. The role involves welding a variety of materials using FCAW, SMAW, GMAW and SAW on ground and elevated positions for structural, bridge, and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 12 months of stable work experience.
• Must pass required weld test.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Knowledge of welding materials and heat reactions.

Responsibilities

• Follow welding procedures (AWS, AISC).
• Welds at ground, above ground, and below ground in required positions.
• Chip, peen and grind material to prepare for welding or finish.
• Weld structural, bridge and industrial materials with precision.
• Perform gouging and scarfing as needed.
• Capable of passing AWS D1.1 weld tests.
• Transport material by crane as needed and maintain clean work area.
• Adhere to safety rules and PPE requirements.
