STV in New York City seeks a Structural/Tunneling Engineering Manager to lead the Geotechnical & Tunneling practice. You will guide design and construction for tunnels, underground stations, and related structures, serving as Engineer of Record on select projects and mentoring multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, project delivery, and client development across the Northeast, with strong collaboration across structural, geotechnical, civil, rail, systems, and construction

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in structural engineering, tunneling, underground structures, or major transportation projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
• Experience with underground transit/rail/water infrastructure.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD, LARSA, RISA, Midas).

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership for tunnels, underground structures, transit facilities, shafts, caverns, and rehabilitation projects.
• Serve as Engineer of Record for major projects as required.
• Guide tunnel support, lining, station structures, and excavation support design.
• Lead planning, design, and construction execution across multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor engineers and build high-performing teams.
• Develop client relationships and support business growth with NE region clients.
