Job summary

STV, Inc. in New York City seeks a Structural/Tunneling Engineering Manager to lead our Geotechnical & Tunneling practice.

This senior role combines technical leadership, project management, and client development for high-profile underground transportation projects such as tunnels, shafts, and transit facilities. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from planning through construction, serve as Engineer of Record when required, manage scopes and budgets, and mentor engineers while expanding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or related discipline; PE license required.
• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in structural engineering and tunneling.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams on major transportation infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of tunnel design methods and applicable standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for tunnels, transit facilities, and underground structures.
• Serve as Engineer of Record on major projects when required.
• Guide tunnel support and excavation systems development.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgets, and client relations.
