Job summary

Black & Veatch's Advanced Power Generation group seeks a Senior Structural Engineering Technician to support APG projects, developing structural models and drawings for foundations, steel, and platforms in complex environments.

You will use Bentley OpenBuildings, Autodesk AutoCAD, and MicroStation to create and modify technical deliverables, provide guidance to teammates, supervise a small team, and ensure quality and compliance with project standards. Hybrid options available after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Typically 11+ years of related work experience.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior engineering technician and supervisor.
• Apply advanced expertise to solve complex design challenges.
• Create, modify, and maintain drawings using CAD/BIM tools.
• Provide guidance to other engineering technicians and ensure project standards.
• Coordinate with other design groups and may support field activities.

Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology
