Job summary

The Structural Superintendent role at Americaribe LLC is based in St. Thomas, USVI, overseeing all structural work on the Rebuild USVI – St. Thomas Educational Facilities Bundle 2 project.

You will coordinate field operations, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence while guiding subcontractors and field teams. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in structural or civil supervision on large education or commercial projects, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills to keep work

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience as a Structural Superintendent or Civil Superintendent on large scale commercial, institutional, education or civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, foundations, earthworks, grading, drainage systems and site development activities.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules and technical documents.
• Safety-focused with proven leadership of field crews and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily field operations related to structural activities including concrete, steel, foundations, framing and related site work.
• Coordinate sequencing of structural/civil tasks and support project schedules through daily planning.
• Lead and supervise field crews and subcontractors, ensuring work is safe and in accordance with plans and specs.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, and structural/civil details to confirm constructability and address issues proactively.
• Track progress, document field activities, and assist with daily reports and quality control measures.
• Support inspections by coordinating with engineers, testing agencies and regulatory officials.
