Job summary

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) seeks an Administrative Supervisor of Building Maintenance to lead the Structural Design studio within AES. You will guide senior engineers, oversee project delivery, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

Eight years of full-time experience in construction, repair, alteration and/or rehabilitation of multiple dwellings, commercial, industrial or public buildings, with at least 18 months in a supervisory/administrative capacity.
Education and/or experience equivalent to the above; an engineering/architecture degree may be substituted year-for-year up to four years, with 18 months of specialized supervisory/administrative experience.

Responsibilities

Lead structural engineering projects and ensure timely delivery.
Manage workload and distribute work between NYCHA teams and external consultants.
Prepare solicitations for design and consulting services and evaluate proposals.
Review design and construction documents for quality and compliance.
Represent the AES Department at interdepartmental meetings.
