Job summary

GrayWolf Integrated Construction seeks a skilled Project Manager to lead structural steel projects from kickoff through completion. You will oversee cost, schedule, documentation, and communication, coordinating detailing, shop, field crews and external stakeholders to drive precision and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in steel fabrication/erection or 8+ years as a coordinator, with a related degree preferred. Travel to job sites and fabrication facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in structural steel fabrication and erection or 8+ years in steel coordination roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Structural/Civil Engineering, or Business preferred.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication/erection standards, AISC and AWS welding codes.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings, shop drawings, and 3D models.
• Familiarity with BIM/VDC workflows and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complete execution of structural steel projects within budget, schedule, and scope.
• Develop project execution plans with sales, estimating, detailing, and operations.
• Manage submittals, fabrication schedules, and delivery milestones for field erection sequencing.
• Coordinate with detailing, fabrication, field teams and subcontractors to maintain momentum.
• Track project budgets, change orders, and subcontractor costs.
• Lead project meetings with customers, general contractors, engineers, and design teams.
