Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in the structural steel industry.
• Proven experience delivering substantial structural steel projects across commercial and industrial sectors.
• Experience managing projects ranging from 250 to 10,000 tons is advantageous.
• Strong track record of managing projects from handover through to completion.
• Strong understanding of the full structural steel lifecycle including preconstruction, detailing, procurement, fabrication, delivery and erection.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel, including drawing reviews, mark-ups, revision comparisons, cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, costs and overall delivery.
• Coordinate detailing, connection design, procurement, fabrication and steel erection activities.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, change orders and client relationships.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and resolve issues before delivery.
• Coordinate drawing approvals, revisions, fabrication schedules and delivery sequences to stay on track.
• Maintain accurate project trackers, cost reports and schedules.
• Communicate with internal departments, customers and senior management.
• Support delivery of large-scale commercial and industrial structural steel projects.
