Job summary

Bennett & Pless seeks a seasoned Structural Engineer/Project Manager to join its Florida team, currently remote and based in the Tampa market. You will lead complex structural projects, mentor engineers, strengthen client relationships, and drive projects from concept through completion.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license with 8+ years of structural experience and proficiency in Revit, ETABS, and RISA to deliver high-quality, cost-effective design solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience managing structural projects and leading teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and teams.
• Proficiency with Revit and structural analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis of structural systems for diverse projects.
• Manage projects, budgets, schedules, QA/QC, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and contractors throughout design and construction.
• Prepare and review analyses, calculations, and construction documents.
• Oversee BIM/AutoCAD drafting and documentation.
• Develop innovative design solutions and support proposals/RFIs.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
