Express Employment Professionals in Austin, TX is supporting a structural engineering client in hiring a Structural Senior Project Manager. The role leads complex projects from design through construction, mentors staff, and builds client relationships while pursuing business growth.

The position emphasizes leadership, technical expertise, and ongoing professional development within a growing firm. A PE license is required and SE is a plus; 10+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• SE license is a plus; 10+ years of structural engineering design experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Proven project management experience within consulting engineering.
• Experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of structural systems, design methodologies, and construction practices.
• Experience with Revit, RAM Structural System, and RISA.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects as Engineer of Record from planning through construction completion.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Oversee preparation and production of construction documents.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of engineering documents and calculations.
• Mentor and develop engineers and design staff.
• Support client relations and business development.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, owners, and design teams.
