Parkhill is seeking a Senior Structural Professional Engineer in Austin to lead the structural design and analysis of diverse building and infrastructure projects, collaborating with the MEP/S team. This full‑time role emphasizes innovation, constructibility, and client satisfaction, with oversight of design teams and project health.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and architectural engineering.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Proficiency with Revit/BIM tools for design documentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare plans, reports, and studies for review.
Direct technicians and EITs for production of engineering documents.
Interface with clients alongside Project Managers.
Visit construction sites to observe progress and conformance.
Research design criteria, regulations, and standards for projects.
Mentor engineers and lead design teams on large or complex projects.
Review and approve structural designs for quality and code compliance.
Manage project health including fees, schedule and hours.
