Job summary

DCI Engineers in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Structural Engineering Project Manager. You will lead structural projects from start to finish, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality construction documents and client relationships.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited) with PE license, 5–10 years of structural design experience, and experience with steel, concrete, wood, and masonry systems. Master’s degree and SE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead building projects from start to finish.
• Develop workload and scheduling projections for project staff.
• Prepare fee proposals and contracts.
• Oversee calculations, design, and analysis of project elements.
• Coordinate design details with BIM Designers and engineers.
• Perform or oversee construction observations and prepare reports.
• Review shop drawings during construction.
• Evaluate additional service requests and manage billing.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
