Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Project Manager in Structural Engineering to join our growing Structures team. You will lead a variety of bridge and structural projects, coordinating with clients and internal teams to deliver designs from concept through construction.

The role requires a PE license and 10+ years of bridge design experience, strong communication, and proactive problem solving. You will mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development across our regional service area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of bridge design experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Excellent communication skills, including proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural expertise on conceptual and detailed designs and contract documents.
• Serve as Project Manager on structure-related projects.
• Facilitate internal and client meetings, presentations and plan approvals.
• Direct project staff and sub-consultants.
• Liaise between client and firm.
• Execute QA/QC for design work.
• Mentor entry level and junior engineers.
• Participate in business development and marketing.
