Responsibilities include developing client relationships, performing and reviewing structural design calculations, and preparing submittals. The role emphasizes profitability, leadership, and mentorship of staff within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of diversified structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong experience in providing technical design and planning on structures.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp; familiar with STAAD, RAM, ETABS, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects profitability and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Support growth of the firm in heavy civil, facilities infrastructure, and building structures practices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with coworkers, industry peers, and clients.
• Perform and review structural design calculations, prepare project document submittal packages, and maintain Quality Control for the entire project.
• Conduct site investigations and structural evaluations while documenting field observations and preparing technical reports.
• Support and participate in meetings with clients, owners, contractors, and design team members.
• Identify project opportunities through networking with new and existing clients.
• Lead and mentor staff; grow a structural practice; manage projects profitably.
