KPFF Consulting Engineers in the Washington, DC area seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead all phases of building projects, coordinating with architects, contractors, and various engineering disciplines to ensure timely delivery and code-compliant designs.

You will mentor junior staff, drive project outcomes, and contribute to business development while enjoying a collaborative culture and strong client engagement.

Qualificações

• BSCE with emphasis in Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with a consulting firm.
• Professional Engineering license in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Experience in design/construction of reinforced concrete, structural steel, wood, masonry, or post-tensioned concrete for building structures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all phases of structural projects from concept to closeout and budgeting.
• Act as primary liaison for clients to manage expectations and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other disciplines for integrated designs.
• Oversee QA/QC and compliance with IBC, ASCE-7, AISC 360, ACI 318.
• Mentor junior engineers and supervise field observations.
