Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design seeks a Structural Project Engineer to join our Austin, TX structural team. You will perform calculations, modeling, detailing, and CA duties on buildings across systems and materials, collaborating with Project Managers and architects to deliver compliant, safe designs.

The role requires 4+ years of building structural experience, a PE license, strong AutoCAD skills, and proficiency with common structural software.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of building structural design experience.
• Professional Engineer license is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis software.
• Knowledge of IBC, ASCE7, AISC360, ACI318, ACI 530 or NDS.

Responsibilities

• Become knowledgeable with internal systems for structural calculations, drawings, and CA.
• Prepare calculation and drawing packages for review by Project Managers.
• Review structural drawings for foundation and framing layout.
• Respond to RFIs and coordinate with architect.
• Edit and compile relevant specification sections addressing structural items.
