Actalent is seeking a Structural Project Engineer in Philadelphia to lead the structural design and documentation of multidisciplinary building projects. You will mentor junior staff and own structural efforts from concept through construction in a hybrid Philadelphia office setting.

The role requires a PE license or near licensure, a BS in structural-related field, and 7+ years of experience. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is expected, with strong knowledge of building codes and client-facing

Qualifications

B.S. in Structural/Civil/Architectural Engineering or related field.
PE license in at least one state or near licensure.
7+ years of structural engineering experience on building projects.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for structural documentation.
Strong knowledge of building codes and structural design standards.
Experience leading projects and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent client-facing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead structural design through all project phases from concept to construction.
Develop and manage project work plans including scope, schedule, and resources.
Evaluate structural systems and select appropriate options within budget and architectural intent.
Establish design criteria and perform code research for projects.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients for integrated designs.
Review drawings, calculations, and specifications, and mentor junior staff.
