Job summary

NTH Consultants, Ltd. in Michigan seeks a Senior Structural/Geotechnical Engineer to lead design, analysis, and documentation for diverse infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and guide project-specific packages from concept to construction.

Required are a BS in Civil Engineering, professional licensure, and at least 7 years in structural/geotechnical engineering, with strong dam and bridge experience. Travel to field sites in Michigan is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Structural or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Professional registration required; Master’s degree desirable.
• Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in Structural or Geo-Structural Engineering.
• Extensive dam design, rehabilitation, and analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and geotechnical analysis, design, and documentation for projects with interdisciplinary teams.
• Develop or review design packages and construction cost estimates.
• Supervise monitoring of construction operations and prepare field reports.
• Prepare technical proposals and fee estimates.
