Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Structural Project Manager with 12+ years in water resources, licensed PE, and a strong technical background to drive design and delivery across dams, energy, and infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes Seller-Doer capabilities, mentoring, and active business development, with opportunities to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage client relationships while advancing projects from feasibility through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited University.
• Master's degree in structural engineering preferred.
• 15+ years of structural design experience in water resource related work.
• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager preferred.
• PE License required; SE License preferred; NCEES registration preferred.
• Familiarity with Federal Agencies and/or Public Utilities.
• Proficient knowledge of relevant Industry and Agency Design Codes and Standards.
• Design-Build and/or Construction Experience (preferred).
• Experience with structural analysis software, seismic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the preparation of complete project documents from design development reports through construction documents.
• Independently evaluate, select, and apply advanced structural design techniques to projects.
• Effectively manage multi-discipline teams, assign tasks and direct staff.
• Collect and analyze existing data via field investigations and review of as-built plans to establish conditions for design criteria.
• Identify project opportunities and assist with proposals for professional services.
• Prepares scopes, budgets, and schedules for projects.
• Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships.
• Evaluate and manage planning, design and construction support services for projects.
