Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Building Structures team in Sparks, MD. You’ll lead building structural projects, mentor teams, and cultivate strong client relationships while delivering diverse projects across the NE Region and beyond.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in structural engineering with PM responsibility, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, and a PE license. The role offers growth, ownership culture, and a collaborative workspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• PE license required or ability to obtain licensure.
• 7+ years of structural engineering experience with PM responsibilities preferred.
• Experience with building structural projects from concept through construction.
• Strong leadership, communication and client-relations skills.
• Proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD and design software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for building structural projects with scope, schedule and budget accountability.
• Lead design efforts for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and coordination with architects and MEP teams.
• Develop construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD; QA/QC oversight.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project budgets and staffing.
• Manage client relationships and support proposals and business development.
• Guide projects through design, bid, and construction administration phases.
• Plan workloads and team staffing for project delivery.
