Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. in Orlando, FL is hiring an experienced Project Manager for our Building Structures team.

You will oversee structural engineering projects from schematic design through construction, coordinating with architects, MEP, and clients to deliver safe, economical designs. The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, a PE license, and proven PM experience on larger projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis or in Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Florida Professional Engineering (PE) license is required. Structural Engineering (SE) license is a plus.
• NCEES registration is a plus, with the ability to obtain licenses in other states.
• Experience leading building structural engineering projects and managing larger programs.
• Proficiency with project management software and formal documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engineer in responsible charge for assigned projects.
• Lead staff engineers and engineers in the design process from schematic through construction.
• Coordinate drafters and engineers to produce AutoCAD and Revit drawings for bid and construction documents.
• Lead project teams and coordinate with arch/MEP disciplines.
• QA/QC of calculations, drawings, specs, and reports to ensure code compliance.
• Maintain client relationships and manage budgets for structural tasks.
