Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of pipe fitting experience - REQUIRED.
• Must be able to independently cut, prep, and fit all materials.
• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills.
• Experience with industrial pipe fabrication and shop equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to assist with all aspects of shop operations.

Responsibilities

• Independently cut, prep, measure, lay out, and fit pipe and fabricated components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Accurately use tape measures, squares, levels, and other measuring tools.
• Fabricate meter tube piping, pig launchers/receivers, and non-code vessels.
• Operate cutting torches, plasma cutters, saws, and ironworkers.
• Position, align, and fit components using hand tools and overhead cranes.
• Ensure accurate fit-up and quality workmanship.
• Assist with additional shop duties as needed

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

• TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), or Flux Core (FCAW) welding experience.
• Experience with gas measurement piping and related fabrication.
• Welding is a plus, NOT a requirement. Candidates with welding experience may be asked to complete a weld test.

Candidates with less than 5 years of pipe fitting experience will not be considered.
