HDR is seeking a Structural Business Class Lead in Dallas, TX. You will oversee the structural team, drive growth, manage budgets, and mentor staff while maintaining HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities include client development, section leadership, project planning, scope management, and coordinating with other disciplines. A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of leadership in structural engineering are required; candidates must uphold quality and HDR values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years of experience.
• Committed to quality, HDR values.
• Professional engineering registration and related technical experience.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
• Collaborates with leadership, operations, and marketing on business-class efforts.
• Active participation in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Grow, operate and lead the structural team with focus on budgets, morale and quality control.
• Build strong client relationships and participate in marketing and planning.
• Prepare and review budgets and scopes for the structural section.
• Schedule work, set staff priorities and monitor scope changes.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and mentor new staff.
• Lead section meetings and advance staff skill levels.
• Occasionally serve as Project Manager or Task Lead.
• Perform project engineer duties when required.
