Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Southwest Mountain Structures Team Lead to guide district leadership across designated locations, including Albuquerque, NM, and manage large-scale structural projects within the Southwest Mountain Structures Team. You will lead teams, monitor budgets, and ensure safe, compliant delivery of critical infrastructure.

The role emphasizes strategic growth, client engagement, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to deliver high-quality engineering services and expand the project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering, structural/civil and infrastructure design.
• Engineer's license required (multi-state preferred).
• Advanced proficiency with structural engineering principles, design/build and related codes.
• Extensive experience with building and infrastructure design.
• Strong knowledge of construction laws, codes, compliance and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and strategic process and people leadership for design, implementation, and administration of engineering projects.
• Lead the most complex and largest scale structural projects, manage budgets, hours, and expenses, and supervise subcontractors and staff.
• Drive business development and execution of building and infrastructure projects within the geography.
• Lead contract negotiations, presentations, and meetings.
