Job summary

PACO Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced, licensed Structural Engineer in New Jersey to support the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

You will review structural and geotechnical design submissions, evaluate compliance with codes and standards, and coordinate multidisciplinary reviews for tenant alterations and capital projects at Port Authority facilities. The role requires a PE license in NY or NJ, a minimum of five years’ experience, and strong communication skills to interact with

Qualifications

Active PE license in NY or NJ required.
5+ years of building structural and geotechnical experience.
Strong understanding of codes, standards, and design principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with multiple reviewers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Review structural and geotechnical design submissions for code compliance and accuracy.
Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews with architects, engineers, and other reviewers.
Manage submissions using Port Authority document management and project tracking tools.
Prepare clear review comments and technical memoranda for distribution.
