Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Engineering Program Manager with Structural Engineering proficiency to support design standardization across Amazon building programs. You will liaison between internal design stakeholders, the Design and Construction team, external design teams, and general contractors to aid design development and standardization across sites.

You will lead cross-functional teams, oversee budgets, and drive VE and cost control on warehouse and manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; Professional Engineer license preferred/required in some regions.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary design and construction coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, on time, within budget and quality.
• Develop and implement program-wide strategies, processes and best practices.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and clients for execution.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules and resource allocation.
• Provide technical guidance on engineering systems and compliance with codes.
• Lead and mentor engineers, designers and program managers.
• Establish and maintain quality control and risk management.
• Manage client relations and communicate progress regularly.
• Develop and manage program budgets and cost-saving measures.
