Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer (CEng MIStructE or CEng MICE).
- Strong capability leading structural design teams and overseeing multi‑package delivery.
- Excellent understanding of UK structural codes, standards and assurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural design delivery across large projects or multiple workstreams.
- Manage and develop structural project teams with appropriate resourcing.
- Oversee calculations, drawings, reports, specs and digital models.
- Act as technical authority—review designs and maintain technical excellence.
- Develop programmes, manage budgets and change control.
- Support tenders, fee proposals and technical scopes.
- Report performance and strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Drive innovation, sustainability and buildable design solutions.
- Mentor engineers and grow teams' capability and confidence.
