Business Development Lead | Metric Geo | Structural & Forensic Engineering | Building Enclosures

Are you a senior-level structural engineer looking to lead high-impact infrastructure projects within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team?

Metric Geo is partnering with a growing engineering group focused on designing innovative and complex water and wastewater treatment facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to manage structural designs, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to transformative infrastructure projects across the region.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the structural design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, tanks, vaults, retaining walls, and related infrastructure.
2. Coordinate with civil, process, mechanical, electrical, and I&C engineers throughout all phases of design.
3. Perform and oversee structural analysis and design using concrete, steel, masonry, and aluminum materials.
4. Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
5. Mentor junior engineers and designers, supporting their technical growth and development.
6. Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance procedures.
7. Participate in site assessments and provide construction-phase support when needed.
8. Support workload planning, resource coordination, and internal team development.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
2. 10+ years of structural engineering experience
3. Experience in water/wastewater or environmental infrastructure projects
4. Licensed Structural Engineer (SE)
5. Expertise in the design of reinforced concrete and structural steel systems
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities
8. Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
