Job summary

Parametrix is seeking a Structural Engineer focused on water and wastewater infrastructure to design and deliver facilities such as treatment plants, pump stations, and related structures. You will collaborate with civil, mechanical, and process engineers to create resilient, constructible solutions for municipal and regional clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil or structural engineering.
• PE license in Washington; SE preferred.
• Experience designing water and wastewater structures.
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for water and wastewater facilities.
• Develop construction documents, plans, specs, and calculations.
• Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff.
• Support project management: scope, schedule, and budget tracking.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and presentations.
• Conduct site visits and support construction-phase services.
