Job summary

Revamp Engineering Inc seeks an experienced Structural Design Engineer to lead structural design for utility-scale renewable energy and substation projects, delivering buildable and code-compliant solutions.

You will mentor staff, drive concepts through IFC, and collaborate with a mission-driven team focused on quality and the energy transition. PE/EIT is strongly preferred; familiarity with ASCE 7, ACI 318, and related standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
• 5+ years' experience in a structural engineering design role.
• Proficiency with structural design codes such as ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360/341, IBC, NDS.
• Ability to read and interpret site studies, geotechnical reports, and drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; both creative and analytical.
• Detail-oriented and accurate.

Responsibilities

• Create structural engineering plans, details, and calculations for renewable energy and substation projects.
• Design concrete or steel foundations meeting jurisdictional requirements.
• Apply knowledge of renewable energy layouts including modules, racking, inverters, and BOS.
• Prepare project documentation and contribute to proposals.
• Lead multiple projects and mentor staff engineers.
