Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, has an immediate opening for an experienced structural engineer to join our East Coast team. The role leads structural design for building and facility projects, guides a multi-disciplinary team, and ensures scope, schedule, and budget alignment. A strong technical background and PE are required.

You will develop construction documents, perform design calculations, and act as a technical advisor to junior engineers while collaborating with clients and other offices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited engineering program.
Professional Engineer License.
10+ years’ experience in building/facility structural engineering.
Experience in design and production of construction documents for structural systems.

Responsibilities

Lead structural design within a multidisciplinary team.
Develop construction documents using Revit.
Perform design calculations and prepare construct documents.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to meet deadlines and quality.
Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
