Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, has an immediate opening for an experienced structural engineer to join our firm on the East Coast. The engineer will lead design efforts for commercial, municipal, state and federal projects, acting as the structural lead within a multidisciplinary group and guiding scope, schedule and budget.

This role requires a PE, ABET-accredited degree, 10+ years' experience, strong Revit and RAM/ETABS skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while coordinating with

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree and PE license.
• 10+ years of building/facility structural engineering experience.
• Experience producing construction documents and details.
• Proficiency in Revit and structural design software.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
• RAM/ETABS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design within a multidisciplinary design team.
• Oversee framing layout, design calculations and detailing for deliverables.
• Develop construction documents using Revit.
• Coordinate with internal and external team members to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project-specific quality plans.
• Manage assigned staff and technical resources on projects.
• Support marketing proposals and client presentations.
