Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, seeks a talented structural engineer to join our firm and contribute to a wide range of building and facility projects. You will participate from framing layouts to construction administration, applying sound technical skills and a collaborative team approach to serve clients on major East Coast projects.

The role requires 4+ years in structural engineering, a PE license, and proficiency with Revit; RAM/ETABS/SAP2000 experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited engineering program.
Professional Engineer License.
4+ years' experience in building / facility structural engineering.
Proficient in Revit or willing to learn Revit.
Knowledge of design codes and construction materials.

Responsibilities

Work within a multidiscipline design team and perform structural engineering efforts to support the team.
Perform structural framing layout, design calculations, and supporting structural detailing for deliverables such as reports and construction documents.
Develop construction documents using Revit software.
Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools.
Prepare engineering documents for advertisement and construction.
