Job summary

Pinnacle Specialty Group, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer to develop high-quality design packages, provide field technical support, and lead design activities on plant facilities.

The role includes seismic analysis, steel and concrete design, equipment anchorage, and preparation of construction drawings and specifications. ABET-accredited degree required; PE license preferred; 10+ years of structural experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering program is required.
• Active PE license is preferred.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication and client interfacing skills.
• Ability to work in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design packages and shop drawings for structural projects.
• Perform seismic analysis and rehab for plant facilities.
• Oversee external engineering firms and coordinate multi-discipline work.
• Lead design team activities and ensure design approval and submittals.
• Conduct field walkdowns and provide field support for construction.
