Job summary

Pinnacle Specialty Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to develop high-quality design packages, support procurement and field activities, and lead multi-discipline teams on complex plant projects.

The ideal candidate has a ABET-accredited BS in civil/structural engineering with 10+ years of experience; PE license is preferred; strong communication skills; familiarity with STAAD.Pro, CAD drafting, and 3D modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited school; 10+ years in structural engineering.
• Active PE license is preferred; ability to interface with clients and teams.
• Willingness to work in a production environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design packages for structural projects.
• Provide procurement and field technical support.
• Perform seismic analysis and rehab of facilities.
• Oversee outside engineering firms; coordinate multi-discipline tasks.
• Develop structural drawings and calculations for steel/concrete.
• Model structures in STAAD.Pro; assist with equipment anchorage.
• Prepare reports and construction specifications; oversee drafting.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
