Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• PE/PEng license active.
• Minimum 10 years in structural engineering.
• Proficient with IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC.
• Proficient with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Experience designing/analyzing steel and concrete structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design with limited supervision.
• Plan and select engineering approaches for projects.
• Apply seismic and wind provisions per code.
• Check own work and seek guidance as needed.
• Lead or assist on medium-sized projects as needed.
• Communicate scope, effort, and progress to leads/managers.
• Collaborate with designers and other disciplines throughout the project.
• Develop leadership skills and mentor junior staff.
