The position requires a Bachelor's in Engineering (Civil with structural focus), 6+ years of experience, and an EIT or PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Civil with a structural focus.
• 6+ years of experience in structural design for refinery, chemical, or heavy industrial facilities.
• EIT certification or Professional Engineer license required.
• Experience with AutoCAD for structural design and detailing.
• Proficiency in Revit (BIM) for structural modeling and coordination.
• Ability to perform detailed engineering calculations and prepare documentation.
• Experience managing project scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural calculations and prepare technical data for deliverables.
• Lead select single-discipline projects: estimate hours, develop scopes, and plan staffing.
• Review drawings to ensure accuracy, constructability, and codes compliance.
• Support field activities with site visits and on-site problem solving.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to gather project information.
• Develop practical, innovative structural solutions meeting client requirements.
• Present design concepts and findings to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Apply steel and concrete design principles in industrial environments.
• Use Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM deliverables.
• Coordinate structural design with other disciplines.
