Godshall Recruiting seeks a Senior Structural Engineer for industrial projects in heavy facilities. You will lead design, analysis, and execution across chemical and refinery environments, maintaining quality and collaboration with teams and clients.

The role offers hybrid work and opportunities to advance professionally, with travel to sites as needed and broad project exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of structural engineering experience in industrial, refinery, manufacturing, chemical, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Experience performing structural analysis, calculations, and creating construction documents.
• EIT certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; interest in Revit and BIM tools.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations and develop design solutions for industrial facilities.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, plans, and construction documents.
• Lead select single-discipline projects by defining scopes, estimating hours, and coordinating resources.
• Collaborate with engineers, clients, contractors, and vendors to meet requirements.

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of structural engineering experience supporting industrial, refinery, manufacturing, chemical, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Experience performing structural analysis, calculations, and developing construction documents.
• EIT certification will be a plus
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and an interest in utilizing Revit and BIM-based design tools.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally to project sites.
