Barry Isett & Associates (Isett) seeks a Senior Professional Engineer/Project Manager to lead the Structural Engineering department in our Columbia, PA office opening mid-to-late summer 2026. You will direct project teams, ensure delivery, and mentor staff.
The role requires a P.E. license and 10+ years in design/consulting. Proficiency in REVIT/BIM and strong client-relations skills are essential for success on diverse educational, commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Architectural or Civil Engineering
- P.E. licensure required
- Minimum 10 years of design/consulting experience
- Knowledge of REVIT and BIM software
- Ability to lead project teams and manage client relations
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain PA clearances
Responsibilities
- Lead the Structural Engineering department's projects, overseeing teams and quality
- Oversee team work and provide training
- Write proposals and establish project plans including budgets
- Complete structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
- Prepare construction documents
- Attend client meetings and interface with clients
- Develop long-term client partnerships
