Job summary

Kleinfelder seeks a Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager to lead its structural team in the New England area (MA, CT, NH, ME, RI). The role may be based in Boston, Worcester, MA, or in ME/CT offices.

Responsibilities include concept design, analysis, and coordination with municipal, state, federal, higher education, and private clients. Licensure and progressive design experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; master’s degree in structural/civil engineering strongly desired.
• Licensed PE in MA; additional licenses in CT, RI, NH, ME preferred.
• 6–7 years related experience; 1–2 years coordination/supervisory experience preferred.
• Progressive structural design experience for medium to large industrial and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Concept design, analysis and design of structures.
• Prepare calculations, contract drawings and cost estimating.
• Review shop drawings and erection procedures.
• Perform construction administration duties.
