Metromont is seeking a Civil Engineer with PE to design precast concrete systems and components, review drawings, and coordinate with drafters, coordinators, and engineers to ensure project success. • BS Civil Engineering required; structural emphasis preferred.
• PE Certification required.
• 3–7 years of relevant engineering experience – internal or external.

Responsabilidades

• Perform engineering calculations and details for all products and connections.
• Independently manage engineering design aspects of a project with minimal guidance.
• Review contract documents to be familiar with project requirements.
• Attend project meetings; may lead coordination meetings.
• Write and review requests for information (RFI).
• Resolve engineering design issues independently.
• Check engineering design calculations and details for accuracy and adherence to Metromont standards.
• Review erection drawings and shop tickets to ensure designs and standards are followed.
• Be actively aware of production processes through regular plant visits.
• Become licensed in states where engineering work is performed and stamp drawings when assigned.
• Evaluate design cost as compared to estimate and take appropriate action.
